Championship strugglers, Charlton Athletic have tonight completed the loan signing of Arsenal’s young striker Yaya Sanogo on a season-long loan deal.
The 23-year-old has been stuck on the fringes at the Emirates Stadium since his arrival in 2013. Following two less-than successful loan spells at Crystal Palace and Ajax, Sanogo is now looking to rescue his chances of breaking into the Arsenal squad by joining fellow London club, Charlton Athletic on loan.
The French Under-21 international is yet to score a league goal in England-and both him and Charlton will no doubt be desperate for him to change that.
It has been reported that The Addicks turned to Sanogo after having a bid rejected by Rotherham for striker Jonson Clarke-Harris.
Charlton have been disappointing in the Championship this season and currently see themselves in 23rd position.
