In a move by the TFF FC board, 20 year-old Andrew Cliff has been appointed as TFF FC manager ahead of their upcoming game against Gillingham Supporters.
Andrew has been serving with the TFF blog for almost 7 months now and with almost no lack of previous managerial or coaching experience, Andrew was deemed the appropriate choice by chairman and TFF founder Alex Crowther due to knowledge of the footballing game and vast Football Manager experience.
Andrew has cast an eye over his backroom staff options, with 35 year-old Ben Wheatland currently expected to fill the vacant assistant manager position. However, Andrew has persuaded coaches Ryan White and Harry Sherman to join the backroom staff, as well as potentially taking up a position as players in the small squad available.
Cliff has also selected his Captain and Vice-Captain roles carefully, with the Captain role going to 16 year-old Josh Keeble-Wells and the Vice-Captain role being handed to 17 year-old centre-back Kieran Masters. However, players like Alex Crowther, Jack Pattison and Liam Drury are expected to fill in these roles if the two main choices are unavailable for selection.
When asked about what made him take on the TFF FC role, Andrew Cliff responded with “I am delighted to have been appointed at a brand new club and I will be looking to build a legacy here”.
