Norwich City fans are ‘very satisfied’ with Murphy twins development.

Jacob and Josh Murphy have had a great start to their first season in the Norwich senior squad. The former FA Youth Cup winner made quite an impact so far this season. In a poll we carried out on our Twitter account, 50% of participants selected ‘very satisfied’ in response to how satisfied you are with the Murphy twins progress so far?

Jacob Murphy has so far, managed to score six goals in nine senior appearances. One goal came in the EFL Cup against Coventry, a side which he spent last season on loan at. Jacob racked up 29 league appearances during his time with the Sky Blues. (Soccerbase) Below are just four of his six goals so far this season.

Meanwhile, Josh Murphy has found the net on four occasions from eight appearances, including an appearance in the canaries U23 squad in the EFL Trophy. Like his brother, Josh spent last season out on loan, this time with Championship side at the time MK Dons. Although he was unable to prevent MK Dons from relegation last season to League One, he did make 33 league appearances and scored five times. (Soccerbase

Rio Ferdinand is one of many who has identified the twins impressive start to their Norwich careers. The former England and Manchester United defender now turned BT pundit seems to be very supportive of the pair which has not gone unnoticed to Norwich fans.

According to the Mirror Online the Murphy twins are attracting the attention of a number of Premier League clubs one of which supposedly being Everton. Both players are contracted to the Canaries until July 2017, but it is yet to be seen as to whether they will remain at Norwich for the foreseeable future. The 21-year-olds have even played for England at U18, U19 and U20 level, and with their current performances, there is an argument for an inclusion in the U21 set-up.
