On Saturday afternoon, at Sincil Bank two non-league club meet in the first round of the FA cup and both will be looking to be in the hat for Monday when the draw takes place. The Imps have started this season well under new management Danny Cowley and his brother Nicky Cowley and are currently sitting in 2nd place in the National League and haven beaten last week opponents Chester 5-2 away, will be going into this game with confidence. Meanwhile, opposition Altrincham are struggling in National League North with them sitting in the relegation zone
Could this be the season that the Imps make it back into the football league and have a good cup run?
Lincoln are certainly having a great season with their last defeat dating back to the 24th of September at Dover losing 2-0 but Altrincham only have one clean sheet in the league all season so defensively they’re poor so Lincoln will be trying and to win the game.
Matt Rhead (Lincoln City)
The 32-year- old big target man will be looking to cause havoc in the Altrincham defence and having scored 32 goals in 58 games, not too bad for a free signing, he will be one to watch. In this competition last year he scored a hat trick in the away defeat to Whitehawk which ended 5-3, this highlighted to the Imps supporters that Rhead can work well with anybody on his team. He currently has 6 goals in this leagues campaign.
Harry Anderson (Lincoln City)
The loanee from Peterborough has hit the ground running with Lincoln since he joined on loan earlier this season and has become a fans favourite and many will be hoping for his loan to be extended until the end of the season. Harry is a fast skilful winger who likes to run at the defenders and is full of confidence.
Damian Reeves (Altrincham)
Damian was initially singed on loan from Alfreton in August 2012 , in November 2012 he signed permanently for the club and has gone on to make over 180 appearances for them, also has scored plenty of goals so the midfielder will be a threat all game.

Score Predication: A 2-0 win to Lincoln I just feel that Lincoln are coming into this game with form and confidence but they know it won’t be an easy game and anything can happen in the FA Cup that is the magic of the competition, but I just feel attacking threat of Lincoln will be too much for Altrincham to handle.
