Join us as we take a look at the five biggest games in non-league during game week 12:

Aldershot v Leyton Orient

Top of the league Aldershot host Leyton Orient who are on an extremely poor run of form. After a promising start from recently relegated Orient, they have lost three on the spin, leaving them 13th. They finally got Bechetti to sell after ongoing protests, but unless they have an upturn in form, promotion looks unlikely currently. Meanwhile, Aldershot sit top of the National league with three wins in four and haven’t conceded in four of their last five. I can only see this going one way.

Prediction: Aldershot 2-0 Leyton Orient

Solihull Moors v Dagenham and Redbridge

Solihull Moors will be looking to get their first win after three straight defeats in this encounter which means a lot at both ends of the table. The Moors have scores just three goals in their last six, picking up just three points in the process. Dagenham haven’t been in great form either, losing two of their last three but I still think they just have enough to get past the hosts.

Prediction: Solihull Moors 1-2 Dagenham and Redbridge

Harrogate v York

Harrogate currently sit top of the National League North on 26 points, scoring 33 goals in 11 league games. York meanwhile after double relegation sit just inside the playoffs. They sit 7th on 18 points and with seven points in their last three. Harrogate are also on fine form winning their last two games 4-1 and 5-1 away from home. I think it will be one of Harrogate’s tougher tests so far this season but I feel they’ll just have enough to get past The Minstermen.

Prediction: Harrogate 3-2 York

East Thurrock v Truro

It’s third versus second this weekend in the National League South as East Thurrock take on Truro. Neither side was expected to be promotion conteneders but the winners of this could move top. East Thurrock are unbeaten and have a game in hand on teams around them. They have six wins and four draws to their name. Truro sit on the same points in second but having played a game more. Both sides are on tremendous form and both sides I feel will cancel out each other.

Prediction: East Thurrock 1-1 Truro

Poole v Chelmsford

Both teams go in to this National League South encounter on poor form. Poole have dropped in to the relegation zone and have picked up just one point in their last six games. Meanwhile, Chelmsford have failed to win in their last four and after leading the pack comfortably, have dropped to 5th. They still sit just one point behind leaders Dartford, but goal scoring is a real worry for them. They have scored just three in goals in their last four games, with three of those four4 opponents being in the bottom half. I think their goal drought may continue and Poole will pick up a point.

Prediction: Poole 0-0 Chelmsford
