Bostik League Premier side have signed striker Liam Nash from Gillingham on a one-month loan, according to The Non-League Paper.

The 21-year-old striker has made ten appearances for the Sky Bet League One outfit this term and joined up with the Tanners squad ahead of their League fixture against Folkestone Invicta. A fixture in which he scored a brilliant panenka penalty.

Nash’s loan spell runs up until, and including, Leatherhead’s game against Burgess Hill Town on December 9th.

Tanners boss Sammy Moore will be hoping that the addition of the Gillingham front-man will allow his side to take full advantage of the four games in hand which they have over some of their divisional rivals.

Nash signed for the Sky Bet League One side after a impressive pre-season friendly performance against Chatham Town in July. Prior to that he had scored 37 goals in one season for Maldon & Tiptree, proving himself as a goal threat at the lower level.

After a series of fine performances, Nash was named captain for the Jammers and his journey to the Football League came following stops at Essex Senior League sides Hullbridge Sports and Great Wakering Rovers.
