Jose Mourinho is considering moving on Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian and Luke Shaw come the January transfer window.
The three players that were signed during Louis van Gaal’s time at Manchester United have all fallen out of favour with the Portuguese manager.
The Red Devils will be widely expected to delve into the transfer market as they seek to strengthen their squad in order to attempt to bridge the gap between them and the “noisy neighbours”.
However, Mourinho is also believed to be eager on shipping out a number of “dead wood” players – in the form of Blind, Darmian, and Shaw, according to reports from the Metro.
The three mentioned players have all been tried and tested in the left-back position, but none of them have convinced the former Chelsea manager – thus forcing him to utilise Ashley Young in that role.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose is the recent name to have popped up in the minds of the Manchester United boardroom, and fans.
But what exactly will the Manchester United faithful expect from Rose should the Tottenham man ply his trade with the 13-time Premier League champions?
Rose has intelligent foresight and the ability to make runs which lead to goals. Speaking of which, one of my favourite goals of his is his screamer against Arsenal back in 2010. If you’ve forgotten…
His versatility sees him not only playing on the defensive but also attacking – thus plays an instrumental part in goals.
Who could the North London club replace Rose with? Find out here…
Why does the three-time Premier League winner want to get rid of the three aforementioned players? As I stated before, neither of them fit into his plans and having all failed to impress Mourinho, its best for the club if they part ways – especially with the World Cup on the horizon as the former Southampton left-back will want to play as many games as possible to force himself into Gareth Southgate’s plans ahead of the World Cup in Russia.
As for Blind and Darmian, they’ll also, oh wait…
