Manchester United will look to buy Juventus defender Alex Sandro in January for £60m, according to the Daily Mirror.

Man United boss Jose Mourinho wants to strengthen his squad next month and the Brazilian is on his transfer wish list.

Chelsea offered £65m for Sandro in the summer but Juventus rejected their offer. Antonio Conte is still interested but Man United have now also made their interest known.

Following Sandro’s drop in form after he was forced to stay at Juventus, the Serie A side could be open to letting him go in January and cutting their losses. Their valuation for the player is now € 50 million, compared to last summer when Chelsea offered almost € 70 million.

Man United are prepared to offload Matteo Darmian – a target for Galatasaray – which will pave the way for Sandro to arrive as a new left back.

Tottenham’s Danny Rose has been a target for United but the Old Trafford realise that signing Alex Sandro would be much easier to complete.

With Juventus likely to sell in January, Manchester United should be able to take full advantage.
