Football London writes that the Premier League title holders have been handed a major boost to replace the Euro 2016 quarter-finalist with Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye.
The 24-year-old was signed by Juventus whilst Conte was at the club, but didn’t play a single game due to the attacker finding his feet as a 19-year-old.
Boakye has already scored 23 goals this season and has helped his side qualify for the next round of the Europa League.
The 2013 FIFA Under-20 World Cup bronze medalist would reportedly cost around less than £20 million and his current club have started fielding enquiries from clubs such as Rennes and Besiktas.
Chelsea fans won’t know much about the striker, but Arsenal fans will having played his side in the group stage of the Europa League. Despite scoring one goal in the first round, he caused Arsenal problems, so fans in the red half of North London will hope he doesn’t sign!
