The others being Everton and West Ham. Newcastle have also been linked with Watford striker Troy Deeney according to ESPN.

The Watford striker has been side lined at Vicarage Road and it is believed to fit the bill for Benitez who is believed to want a striker.

Another popular rumour going around the rounds is a possible loan deal for Chelsea defender Kenedy. The rumours swirling is that Kenedy won’t be released till Chelsea find a replacement.

Loan deals were also mooted for Liverpool striker Danny Ings and Daniel Sturridge in the Northern Echo. Both strikers are out of favour at Anfield and fail to make the appearances which they need especially in a World Cup year.

However, there has also been rumours of outgoings from St James’ Park. Jonjo Shelvey has been one player linked with a move away.
