Manchester United are leading the race to sign Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, whose contract expires in the summer, but Juventus are also interested in the midfielder.
The Wales midfielder has been at Arsenal for a decade but looks set to move on this summer as contract talks haven’t even begun with the Gunners.
Ramsey is highly rated by Man United boss Jose Mourinho, even more so than £89m club-record signing Paul Pogba, according to The Sun.
Mourinho considers Ramsey an ideal replacement for Pogba, should he leave Old Trafford this summer.
Juventus have also shown interest in the £35million rated Ramsey because they feel he could form an effective partnership with Liverpool’s Emre Can who the Serie A giants are also targetting.
Juventus are fearful that Bayern Munich could muscle in on Can and don’t want to miss out on both players. Can looked set to join Juventus on a free transfer when his contract expires with Liverpool this summer but if Bayern are interested this could throw a spanner in the works, hence the interest in Ramsey.
Arsenal will only have themselves to blame if Aaron Ramsey leaves in the summer and their loss is set to be Manchester United or Juventus’ gain.
