Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin could be following Arsene Wenger on the way out of Arsenal this summer, and a handful of clubs are interesting in capturing the Spanish defender.
The 23-year-old has been playing for Arsenal since 2011 after making the switch from Barcelona’s youth academy to the Emirates. In the five years spent in the senior team, Bellerin has made 122 appearances, scoring six times. During this spell, the right-back has won four trophies, two FA Cups and two FA Community Shields. Bellerin was also named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year for the 2015-16 season.
Staying in England, according to Football London, both Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in signing the former Young Catalan Player of the Year. Both clubs are reportedly set to bid £50 million, and Italian giants Juventus are reportedly set to match that bid.
Bellerin has been something of a flop this season, placed in an Arsenal defence which has been broken down time after time throughout the past two years, and many fans of the North London club are hoping to see the Spanish defender depart this summer.
Many pundits have stated in the past that Bellerin uses his lightning pace to disguise his poor positioning and marking, and when coming up against the elite teams in Europe, a player like Bellerin can be exposed which leads to football fans questioning his £50 million price tag.
