The 19-year-old is yet to sign a contract extension with the German club and Chelsea are rumoured to be hunting down the American winger as they hope to sell Willian.

The Brazilian is set to enter contract negotiations with Spanish giants Real Madrid after they have reportedly offered £64.5 million along with their £35.5 million offer for goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois (https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-target-christian-pulisic-but-wont-pay-62m-transfer-fee-unless-willian-is-sold-a3899206.html). With this money, Chelsea would easily be able to tempt Dortmund into giving them Pulisic after the Bundesliga club admitted they would sell the 19-year-old if an offer in excess of £62 million was sent their way.

If this deal was to go through, Pulisic would be new manager Maurizio Sarri’s third signing since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Napoli. The Blues have already captured central midfielder Jorginho from Sarri’s previous club for £57 million, and veteran goalkeeper Robert Green who arrives from Huddersfield on a free transfer to provide backup and experience.

In other Chelsea transfer news, all three of their senior forwards, Olivier Giroud, Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi, have doubts over their role at the London club.

It has been obvious for a while now that Spanish striker Morata wants to return to Italy’s bigeest league, Serie A, and it seems as though Juventus and AC Milan are both interested. As for Batshuayi, Spanish club Valencia are keen to bring the Belgian stirker to La Liga on a season-long loan.
