Earlier today, Norwich City FC announced the completion of the transfer for defender Ivo Pinto from Dinamo Zagreb, for an undisclosed fee. The right back appeared delighted in todays press conference to have finally sealed a move to the Premier League side. He had clocked up over 100 appearances for his former club Dinamo Zagreb and aided with the clubs back to back league titles in 2014 and 2015.
“It is the best league in the world. Norwich have given me this chance to play here and I am very happy to come here. From the first contact I had with them, the will to have me here was very big and for me to have that opportunity to help the club achieve their goals was very important.” Ivo Pinto
His excitement to get out and play in the Premier League for Norwich, will no doubt please his new fans. This highlights how big the Premier League is in comparison to other major football leagues like La Liga and Serie A that it is able to draw players from all over on a more frequent basis. One clear example of this was Stokes recent capture of Shaqiri.
Ivo outlined in the press conference what fans can expect of the Portuguese full-back; “I am a very aggressive, fast player. They can expect from me that I will give all I have in every minute of a game and I will not disappoint them.”

Good luck to Ivo Pinto. Just hope it doesn't mean that Russ goes back to CB position #ncfc

Fan reaction on the whole seems to be positive, and fans appear to be happy that Norwich have finally got their man, given that they had been linked with him for a while. Pinto, like Matt Jarvis will miss tomorrows FA Cup Third round home tie against Manchester City.
It will be interesting to see firstly how the Norwich new boy shapes up in the following weeks, and secondly what happens to fringe right backs Wisdom and Whittaker.
