Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has got fans talking having reportedly been seen having a word with Alexis Sanchez – who has been courted by Manchester City.
The league leaders could face further competition with their local rivals reportedly attempting to hijack the deal with a bid worth up to £25m.
Plans have been brought forward by the blue side of Manchester to sign the two-time Copa America winner – whose contract runs out at the end of the season – after Gabriel Jesus picked up an unfortunate injury, although Arsene Wenger maintains that his star player could yet stay. His [Wenger’s] track record of saying players could stay doesn’t look good.
In the clip provided by Chelsea’s YouTube channel, Conte could visibly be seen tapping Sanchez on the back, and whispers something in the Chileans ear, who in turn, grins at the Italian, and its been said that the pair also caught up at full time with after the former Barcelona forward came on in the second half.

The 2016-17 Premier League champions were linked with a move for Sanchez – who started his European career with Italian outfit Udinese, and was described by Conte as a “top player”. The former Italy boss even implored with rivals to sign best players within the league for the sake of the title.
Like the two-time Premier League winners, Virgil van Dijk also interested Chelsea, but not ask the asking price Liverpool paid for, but the Italian was sure someone could beat Pep Guardiola to the punch.
He said, “every team, every club must pay great attention”. “Because if a club like Manchester City takes all the best players, it will be very difficult for us to fight. Not only in England, but in Europe”.
Reports from the Guardian suggest that the red side of Manchester are attempting to extort their rivals plan and have since have a bid submitted.
Claims were made that Jose Mourinho is optimistic about signing the 29-year-old, that in return, Arsenal have been handed the opportunity to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
