The SuperLig side, according to reports in Turkey, are currently tracking the 29-year-old.

Ospina’s future at the Emirates has been up in the air since the Gunners signed highly-rated German keeper Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen. Ospina was already the back up keeper to veteran Petr Cech. but with Leno coming in as the new number one choice, Ospina would be reserved to third choice at most.

Besiktas are in the market for a new man between the sticks, after confirming they are finalsing the sale of current number one keeper Fabri to Premier League side Fulham for £5 million, and according to talkSPORT (https://talksport.com/football/402695/arsenal-transfer-news-david-ospina-besiktas/) Ospina is being seen as their number one target. The Turkish club are also looking at Espanyol keeper David Lopez if they are unable to capture the signature of Ospina.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s other senior keeper Petr Cech is looking to stay at Unai Emery’s new look Arsenal to fight for the number one shirt. It is likely that Cech will remain the back up to Leno for the entire season, and will probably get some game time in cup matches, which could include Europa League.
